This beats out the Wii Gamer Glove as possibly the worst Wii accessory yet. The "Wii Shark Light Gun" from Pega. Maybe the manufacturers were inspired by their own logo or have a thing for sharks. According to the packaging features (quoting exactly here): "With lively appearance and smooth lines, shark gun makes you feel comfortable, and give you a strong sense of shark liked invincible force."
There's also a rip-off of Sam Fisher on the package. Save your dough for one of those shark, whale or dolphin water guns at your local zoo or Sea World. I did learn, from the packaging, that the Wii Nunchuk also went by the name of "mushroom head."

With the reigns at Nintendo's Seal of Approval committee being loosened, it is good to see the creative juices flowing from these 3rd party manufacturers. Not only would I be proud to own a Shark gun, but no other product embodies the television phrase of"Jumping the Shark" like this one, which is quite literal! I can think of many games, Link's Hammerhead Hunting Training game, maybe even good ol' Chicken Shoot! But the game I would hope it works with is an old game to hopefully appear on the VC, Zero Wing......ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!!!

I have seen images of this on the web before, and thought it quite ridiculous. Upon reading your first hand review of the thing, and the package's own description you posted, I find it all the more ridiculous. But what I find most ridiculous is that my girlfriend's aunt thinks that the shark Wiimote shell is really cute, and wants us to get her one. I don't know if that is a good reason or not, but if you did send us the Shark Gun it would be going to quite possibly the only person in the world who actually WANTS it because they think its cool, not because they think its incredibly dorky. LOL Anyway, thanks for the insightful article, even if somebody else has a better reason LOL
