Video Showing How to Use Remote Play With Your Playstation 3 and PSP PDF Print E-mail

Here's a video for those of you new to the PSP and Playstation 3 who would like to see how to use the Remote Play feature. It's an update to a previous video done. Setting up Remote Play is much easier now. The video shows Remote Play setup using PSP Firmware 3.80 and Playstation 3 Firmware 2.10.

There's also plenty of new functionality since the earlier video, like playing PSone game discs and remotely turning the Playstation 3 on and off. If you just got a PSP and have a Playstation 3, you should definitely take advantage of the Remote Play features. It's great for downloading stuff from the Playstation Store on your PS3 when you aren't home for the latest PSN downloads.

Check out the video below.

How come they cant get it to work away from home.
It doesnt . People want to use it portable ya know (remotely) not in home we already have a computer and ps3 to play games on. Why cant they get remote play to work VIA THE INTERNET?

You can. As long as you go to a wireless network. He does mention it all in the video.

Major Problem

There is one Major Problem regarding the Via internet option. For many owners when you turn off the PS3 when it is accessed via the internet, it will automatically turn itself on without you doing anything, then if you don't touch anything it will shut

wifi required?

The person who said this was pointless is not seeing the big picture. If you have a wifi someplace (airport, office, school, wherever) you can watch full movies that you have saved on your PS3, you can play games from your PS3 and when Home finally gets
