Ubisoft confirmed today that Far Cry 2 is in development for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Ubisoft's Montreal studio is working on the FPS game. It'll be using a "custom-made video game engine built from the ground up." The game will take place in Africa this time. Far Cry 2 is scheduled for an estimated 2008-2009 release.
