Just Cause is making a return soon. The game with leading revolutionary Rico Rodriguez is back in Just Cause 2. PSW Magazine (#103) has the full details on the upcoming sequel coming from Eidos. Just Cause 2 will be using Avalanche Studios's new Avalanche Engine 2.0. The game's lead designer, Peter Johansson, promises more stunts and exploration this time around. The game's previous side-missions are out to give a better feeling of free-roaming.
"We've ditched the concept of side-missions. Freedom is something of a myth... In Just Cause 2 freedom should be more of a reality. The side-missions are out. You'll begin the game with nothing but your Cuban heels and a winning smile." said Johansson. The screenshots are looking pretty rich and detailed. A nice upgrade from the original release.
