Activision has opened a registration page at activisiongameexchange.com, where you can fill out a form to be contacted when replacement discs will be available for Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. As reported in an earlier article, Activision will be providing replacement discs to fix the mono sound from the Wii version of Guitar Hero III. It's not as simple as a downloadable update, like the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 can do from their online network. Since there is no way to update the game from Nintendo's Wii internet connection, you will need to mail in your disc to get a new one.
From Activision: "Once the replacement discs are available, the replacement program will begin. We will send you a disc replacement package which will consist of exchange instructions, a replacement disc claim form, and a postage paid envelope for you to return your current copy of the Wii version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Once you receive your package, please complete the claim form and return your original game as directed. Once we receive your game, we will email you once the free replacement discs are available."
