Game developer BLUESIDE may have just recently had their game, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom , released on the Xbox 360 last week, but they're already up to bigger plans for the next release. Qj posted information on the next game, Kingdom Under Fire: Dominion.
BLUESIDE is dubbing the genre "MMOARTS" for Massively Multiplayer Online Action Real-Time Strategy. The current game allows 4-player co-op on Xbox LIVE, but Dominion seeks to take it to MMO scale. It will be some time before it's out, as it's slated for a 2009 release for the Xbox 360 and PC. Action real time strategy (RTS) was the main gameplay of the first couple of Xbox games, Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders and Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes, but as a single-player game.
