From the company that brought you Zoo Hospital and Fish Tycoon comes the next environ-friendly, PETA worthy adventure. This time Majesco takes us to Africa. Gui Karyo, executive VP of Operations praises "Wild Earth: African Safari" explaining that it "encompasses several great passions – photography, travel and the outdoors – and combines them into a fun and informative interactive experience."
The technology of the Wii makes this an adventure that will teach patience and some animal behaviors. Majesco also manages to cultivate a respect for wildlife as getting too close the animals or disturbing the serenity of nature will cause the Wiimote to shake, making taking pictures nearly impossible. Multiplayer mode allows friends to come along and a mini game gives kids the chance to act from the animals' point of view. Are you looking for a peaceful break from the onslaught of virtual violence for your children? What better escape than a virtual Safari to the Serengeti? Wild Earth: African Safari is scheduled for an April 2008 release.
