Ubisoft released a developer diary video for the upcoming Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (Xbox 360, Playstation 3). In the video, Philippe Therien, Rainbow Six Vegas 2's Game Designer, discusses the new Persistent Elite Creation (PEC) and Rewards features.
Expanded custom features and weapons will be in Vegas 2. Single player, co-op and multiplayer will be supported, in which you can use your own PEC character. A Rewards system follows the gameplay style found in Call of Duty 4, with Experience Points, Ranks and A.C.E.S., Advanced Combat Enhancement Specilization (sounds something similar to COD4's Perks, but they lead to unlocking more weapons). Philippe Therien also notes Rainbow Six Vegas will come to a conclusion this go-around. Different game environments, such as the convention center and residential areas, are also revealed.
