Microsoft has announced the free Xbox Live Arcade game to compensate gamers for their woes during the Xbox Live downtime in December. It's not some 400 point XBLA game. It's not some multi-platform port either. It's one of XBLA's finer exclusives, Undertow. The game has received some great reviews (see GameRankings and Metacritic), and Microsoft has brought it out from possible sleeper hit status for everyone to consume.
Gold and Silver Xbox LIVE members, worldwide, will be able to download the game for free next week, starting Wednesday (1/23/08), 2:00 a.m. PST through Sunday (1/27/08), 11:59 p.m. PST.
