One of this summer's original games is Fracture. The game is under development by LucasArts and Day 1 Studios, which introduces a new element to third-person shooter gaming: terrain deforming. The latest screens show a higher level of detail on the characters (and a shaved head). See the five newly released screenshots below.

Plausible future conflict -- As stem cell research continues to proliferate and spirals out of control, ideological differences over genetic enhancement place the player at the threshold of an epic battle of tomorrow between genetics vs. cybernetics as two powerful armies, with vastly differing tactics and advantages, square off.
