| Kid Icarus Rumored To Be Headed To Wii, From Lair Developer Factor 5 |

Looks like Playstation 3 Lair developer Factor 5 may be on to the Wii with an original Kid Icarus game in the works. While nothing has been announced or confirmed by Factor 5 or Nintendo, gaming site Kombo is saying a new Kid Icarus game is in the works for the Wii. Not much has happened with Kid Icarus since its original release on the NES in 1987, which was recently released in its original form on the Wii Virtual Console. Pit, the lead character from Kid Icarus, will be making an appearance as a playable character in Super Smash Bros Brawl.
From Kombo: "Kombo has learned from a credible source that said Wii game is in fact a new installment in Nintendo's cherished Kid Icarus franchise. According to sources, Factor 5's Kid Icarus title is being developed ground-up for Wii." Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht recently told IGN that they are developing a game for the Wii. Factor 5 has one game "TBA" (to be announced) on its website.
