Another version of the Playstation 3 is coming to the US soon. This is the white Playstation 3 console, released in Japan last year. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) filing was the source of the spoiler this time. The white PS3, as shown in the picture below, features 2 USB ports, so it's looking like the 40GB Playstation 3 model.
There's been no official announcement from Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) yet. The FCC filing is in September/October 2007, before the black 40GB PS3 was released in the US in November 2007. From gamesindustry.biz
