Turok is set to be making a comeback soon. The FPS game, with dinos thrown in the mix of adversaries, is set for a February 5, 2008 release on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Not only will it have to live up to the excitement the original Turok had back in the Nintendo 64 days, but it's being released during a time when FPS games are at a whole new level of polish with games like Call of Duty 4, Halo 3 and Unreal Tournament III.

Developer Propaganda Games and publisher Touchstone Studios have been sharing the creative process on the game, gameplay clips and a playable demo for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers. The playable demo is about 30 or so minutes of playing time (depends how good you are at getting through the last skirmish). The Turok demo can be downloaded from the Playstation Network. The Xbox 360 demo is not available online, but is available for free from GameStop or Best Buy with a pre-order deposit for the game. It's also available on the February 2008 OXM disc. You can also check out an edited video of the demo, featuring a few of the highlights, in a video below.

There's plenty of other videos below to help you find out more about the latest Turok game. From the "Making of Turok" at Propaganda Games (3 parts) to vignettes showing the weapons, dinosaur hand-to-hand combat and stealth tactics.
