| Wii and DS on Sports Tour; Nintendo Provides Free DS Application For Seattle Mariners Home Games |

Nintendo announced its upcoming schedule of sports related promotions it will be taking the Wii and DS on in the US. Watch for Wii Sports, Flash Focus and more Wii sports games to be showcased at the various events (see them listed below). Seattle Mariners fans (or DS fanboys) will be given a downloadable application called the "Nintendo Fan Network" which can be used during Mariners home games.
Nintendo explains: "NFN users can access a menu of interactive options including: a live video feed of the game, scores from others MLB games in progress, player stats and team standings, trivia and word search games against other fans and the ability to communicate with other fans via Nintendo Fan Network messaging." See the listings of the dates and locations of the various sporting events, taking place from January to March 2008.
