Here's a third-party alternative to Nintendo's Wii Remote from sunflex Europe. To be the first in a line of third-party snakebyte Wii controllers, the snakebyte Riimote will be available on 2/8/08 in Europe for 39,99 euros. The snakebyte Riimote will be available in Glossy Black and Lipstick Pink (pictured below).

The snakebyte Riimote keeps the same button layout and similar size to Nintendo's Wii Remote. The d-pad is rounded on the end and there are a bit more speaker holes. Then there's that snake eye on the "A" button.

In addition to the Wii Remote replacement, sunflex will be offering a snakebyte Nunchaku, a Wireless Nunchaku, and Retro Controller in spring 2008, with more colors to come as well. No word if the snakebyte controllers will be available in the US.

UPDATE: Added images of the Glossy Black and Lipstick Pink Wireless Nunchaku and Retro Controllers below.
