Snake is going mobile. Konami has announced Metal Gear Solid Mobile today for release in North America. In The Kojima Productions Report Session:077, Christine Kogure announced details on Metal Gear Solid Mobile (MGSM).
Metal Gear Solid Mobile will play in full 3D graphics (remember, this is mobile). A unique feature is the use of a cellphone's camera. Take pictures of colored objects to use as camouflage in the game (not required and not supported on all camera phones). No exact release date has been announced, but it's expected for release in the first quarter of 2008. The game will be available on Verizon Wireless (and T-Mobile soon). On a side note on the Metal Gear Solid 4 demo, host Ryan Payton reiterated that the MGS4 demo will not be released for the Playstation 3. See more screenshots below.
