Spark Unlimited and Gamecock Media Group recently made the announcement that their newest game Legendary would be making its way to consoles sometime this summer. Legendary will be available on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. From the press release: “I’m happy to report that the team on Legendary is well on target for a simultaneous multi-platform launch this summer,” said Rick Stults, Console Chief for Gamecock Media Group. “It’s no easy feat to pull this off on a game of this caliber, but Spark Unlimited is a talented group.” “This is the project we want to be working on and it’s shaping up to be something amazing,” said Craig Allen, CEO of Spark Unlimited. “Legendary is the type of game we want every gamer, regardless of system allegiance, to get the chance to play. We’re taking our time to ensure optimum performance, regardless of platform.” Legendary tells the story of Charles Deckard, an art thief who is duped into stealing Pandora’s Box. When he inadvertently opens it, he releases hordes of beasts thought to be fictional – such as werewolves and gryphons – into an unprepared modern world. A full scale war between man and myth begins, and it is quickly complicated by the actions of powerful secret societies. As the person responsible for releasing this terror, Deckard’s unwittingly become the only person capable of containing it once more and saving civilization from being destroyed by the terrifying creatures. Sounds like an interesting concept, and we'll make sure to bring you any new information. For more information on Legendary, visit www.legendarythebox.com.
