SPORE's release date was announced just yesterday. Here's another bit of more info, or something to look at, for the DS version. See six screenshots below for a sampling of the graphics and interface in SPORE on the DS. Definitely a more cartoon-like look than the 3D graphics capable on the PC/Mac.
