Playstation 3's PSN Site Slips In-Game Chat Functionality PDF Print E-mail

It looks like the Playstation 3's PlayStation Network (PSN) may finally be getting in-game chatting. For a brief moment yesterday on Sony's PSN webpage, us.playstation.com/PSN/default.aspx, there was a note under "Friends & Messaging" functionality.

The posting said: "Friends & Messaging: Talk to others during game play, say hello anytime you’re online, or have a video chat with an Eye camera; USB Camera or headset."

Currently the page redirects to a Playstation Home video page. See the cached version of the page on Google here, where you can see the text is there. Sony Computer Entertainment America has not made any official announcement yet, other than pulling the page that was on it's own website.
