Puzzle Quest: Challenge of The Warlords fans can look for a new take on the game in the coming months ahead. Developer Infinite-Interactive revealed the next take on the now new Puzzle Quest series with Puzzle Quest: Galactrix. Instead of continuing with the wizards and warriors theme and setting of the previously released Puzzle Quest, this puzzle adventure game takes place in a futuristic setting.
Features of Puzzle Quest: Galactrix includes: The tiles now have a hexagonal shape, as well as corresponding symbols inside (useful for the color-blind). So matching takes place diagonally. Being that the new environment is space, a planet's gravitational pull also has an effect on gameplay. Watch for more details soon. Puzzle Quest: Galactrix will be available for the Xbox 360 (XBLA), Nintendo DS, PSP and PC, with the possibility of a Mac release as well. See a couple of screenshots below.
