Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has announced a new accessory for the PlayStation Portable Slim (PSP-2000). The PSP Cradle. If there's one thing the new PSP 2000 (Slim PSP) has been lacking is a cradle (and a case). This has only been announced for Japan, so we're still not sure if the US or other regions will be getting the accessory. The Cradle not only works to hold the PSP, but also provides output ports for video and audio, as well as remote control.
The PSP Cradle (model PSP-S340) with Remote (model PSP-S350) will be available in Japan on April 24, 2008 for 4,800 yen (about $46). An optional Cradle with D Terminal AV Cable (model PSPJ-15013) will also be available for 6,500 yen (about $63). See the full details below in SCEJ's press release.
