Developer Double Fine passes word of an upcoming signing at the Nucleus Gallery in California, featuring Double Fine artist Scott C. (Campbell). Scott C. is the artist behind the alternate cover art (flip side) of The King of Kong DVD. That's my permanent cover. If you haven't seen The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters, it's a must see documentary for both gamers and non-gamers.
As found in Amazon.com's description of the documentary: "The King of Kong is the saga of Steve Wiebe, a Redmond, Washington dweeb who sets a new record in the video game Donkey Kong, only to see his accomplishment challenged by the grand poobahs of the gaming establishment. And if you don't know how pernickety the grand poobahs of the gaming establishment can be, well, one of the pleasures of this movie is finding out about this collection of oddballs."
Details on the upcoming signing event: The second bit of this posting, since Double Fine news needs a double header, is that Brutal Legend tees are starting to go out to the wild. Early adopters of the game (people who pre-ordered) from GameStop should already be starting to receive the tees in advance of Brutal Legend's late 2008 release.
