Handheld systems get a couple of seasoned video game series titles this week, while the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 get a couple of new third-person action gaming experiences. PSP gamers will want to check out Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, a prequel to the hit Final Fantasy VII RPG for the original PlayStation. Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword gets squeezed into the Nintendo DS. Check out a gameplay trailer of it here. Pre-order before Tuesday, 3/25/08, if you want a free Ninja Gaiden Sword Stylus (just get a screen protector too!).
D3's Dark Sector and SEGA's Viking: Battle for Asgard will be available for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3. Real-time strategy (RTS) fans, check out Universe at War: Earth Assault, coming from some of the original creators behind Command & Conquer and Star Wars: Empire at War.
