If you've pre-ordered, or want to pre-order, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, now is the time to go in for that Metal Gear Saga Vol. 2 DVD and Metal Gear Online beta code. Stop by your local GameStop soon, as supplies are limited. The DVD features six chapters, four of which provide you with a good catch up on the Metal Gear Solid series. If you've missed out on any of the Metal Gear Solid 1-3 games, you'll want to watch it. Trailers for Metal Gear Solid 4 are in there as well. GameStop says orders placed online will be receiving the bonus DVD when the game ships, but the Beta key will be emailed "in the next few days."
You'll also find a code inside for the Metal Gear Online Beta. A unique code is included, which will allow you to download the MGO Beta starting April 17, 2008. The MGO Beta will run from April 21 to May 5, 2008. Get the Metal Gear Saga Vol. 2 DVD with a pre-order of Metal Gear Solid 4 ($5 down for regular edition, $10 down for Limited Edition) at GameStop.
