Infinity Ward has confirmed the release date for the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack for the PLAYSTATION 3. The Variety Map Pack will be available for North America on April 24th, Thursday. The European region will get the Variety Map Pack one week later, on May 1st. In addition to the release date of the COD 4 Variety Map Pack for the PLAYSTATION 3, details on the Double XP event were released.
From Robert Bowling at iamfourzerotwo.com: "Double XP weekend for North America from 12:01 AM PDT on Friday, April 25 to 11:59 PM PDT on Sunday, April 27. North American players will be able to play the new maps against members of the Infinity Ward team on Friday, April 25 from 5 PM to 8 PM PDT." There will also be a Double XP weekend for Europe.
