A pretty embarrassing slip-up has made its way to Okami's Wii cover art, which was just released last week. Capcom's Okami Wii box art is marked with a semi-transparent IGN logo. Just how did it happen? The original, or umm, IGN.com watermarked Okami artwork was taken from IGN here. Obviously a mash-up of some layered artwork (see image comparison below). Strange to think the designers didn't have access to the beautiful library of Okami art. The Okami Wii box art on Capcom's press site also has the IGN watermark that retail copies have. It may not be apparent at first glance, but once you know it's there, it's pretty hard to block out. Check out the Okami Wii box for yourself.
