Electronic Arts has released the second Developer Diary video for Dead Space, "The Story of Dead Space." The video has some of Dead Space's producers discussing the drive behind the game: the story. See what "planet mining" is all about and watch preview bits of gameplay throughout the video as well.
From EA: "Get behind the scenes of Dead Space and learn what it takes to develop its bleak future universe and dark, disturbing story. Check out the second Developer Diary Video that offers in-depth interviews with the Dead Space development team on the evolution of the world and story of Dead Space." Dead Space reminds me of the old school Commodore 64 game, Project Firestart, with much better visuals of course. The game was also published by Electronic Arts in 1989. Dead Space will be released on October 31, 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3. Visit the official website for Dead Space here.
