Wii Fit launched just yesterday in the UK (£69.99) and EU (€89.99). Day one sales are sounding good, from an early indication at UK's Woolworths.

From webuser.co.uk: "Nintendo's Wii Fit game was launched today and has been selling at the rate of 90 copies per minute in Woolworths, the store claimed."

"This is a revolution in computer gaming. For a game not targeted at gamers to sell in numbers like this is unheard of and is genuinely changing the market," said Woolworths games trading manager Gerry Berkley.

Wii Fit is scheduled for release in the US on May 19, 2008 and will be available for $89.99.
