SEGA and Secret Level may have just released Iron Man yesterday, but Secret Level is at work on the next release for SEGA: Golden Axe Beast Rider. SEGA Blog's SegaDawg shares an inside peek into the development of Golden Axe Beast Rider. A few bits of level design, artwork, new screenshots, and Secret Level's studio, can be seen here on SEGA Blog's Flickr page. Golden Axe, a co-op side-scrolling action adventure, was originally released in the arcades in the late '80s. Golden Axe Beast Rider looks like it's featuring one element found in the original: fighting atop different creatures (or steeds). Sounds like there will be plenty of axe and sword combat as well.
A highlight of the features, as noted by SEGA: Golden Axe Beast Rider will be available for the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360 later this year. Visit the official website for Golden Axe Beast Rider here. From the SEGA Blog
