Major Nelson posted the weekly top 10 played games on Xbox LIVE for last week (4/28/08) and as you can see below, Grand Theft Auto IV stole the top spot from Activision's Call of Duty 4.
Xbox 360 Top Live Titles (based on UU’s) Looks like it happened much sooner than Infinity Ward may have anticipated. "We fought hard to secure and keep the #1 spot for over four months now, and I’m excited to see how quickly GTA IV rises up the list," said Robert Bowling at Infinity Ward's iamfourzerotwo.com. Now the question is how long will GTA IV sit atop the list? Can Call of Duty 4 reclaim it? Or maybe it'll take Gears of War 2 later in November 2008? From Major Nelson
