Electronic Arts is planning on a follow-up to skate with Skate 2. Mcvuk.com is reporting the sequel will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3. Not much else beyond that, but fans can be assured more is in development.
The Wii and Nintendo DS will also be getting their own version of skate with Skate It. IGN has details on it in an interview with the game's executive producer, Scott Blackwood. Expect touch screen and Wii Balance Board compatibility. It's estimated to be released sometime in 2008. UPDATE: Added EA's press release below.
