It's time for a little update to the PLAYSTATION 3 system. A minor system update (v2.35) is now available for the PLAYSTATION 3. The next time you boot-up your 'net connected PLAYSTATION 3, you should receive a message that the new update is available.
Although no details on the update are given when you download it on your PLAYSTATION 3, the PlayStation Blog says it's "a relatively minor update to improve stability of some PS3 titles." I know what you're thinking. GTA IV update? Nope. From SCEA's Al De Leon at the PlayStation Blog: "I just want to clarify that this upcoming firmware update isn’t related to GTA IV. For those of you who may still have an issue playing the game on your PS3, we have identified a solution that should resolve the issue. You can contact SCEA Consumer Services for support — their contact info and hours of service, as well as more information on this issue, are available in our Knowledge Center (http://playstation.custhelp.com/)." Watch for more details from the PlayStation website's System Update page.
