Originally introduced in the Nintendogs DS Lite bundle at the end of 2007, Nintendo today announced that the Metallic Rose DS Lite will become part of the regular line of DS colors. Sans paw print. Nintendo also noted commercials will be aired starting Monday, featuring celebrities promoting the Metallic Rose Nintendo DS, as well as the Crimson/Black DS.
From Nintendo: "Starting Monday, May 19, America Ferrera and Carrie Underwood will be featured in commercials for the Metallic Rose version of Nintendo DS. Metallic Rose debuted in late 2007 as part of a Nintendogs bundle and will be available as a standalone hardware system at retailers nationwide late this month.
