Guitar Hero World Tour was announced earlier this week by Activision. No details on pricing was revealed, but GameStop has already listed the "Guitar Hero World Tour - Band Kit" for various gaming systems. The Band Kit, which likely includes a guitar, drums, mic and game, has been listed for $189.99 by GameStop for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PLAYSTATION 3 bundles. The PS2 release is listed for $179.99.

Also listed on GameStop:
• Guitar Hero World Tour - Guitar Kit: $99.99 (PS3, PS2, Wii, Xbox 360)
• Guitar Hero World Tour Game: $59.99 (PS3, Xbox 360)
• Guitar Hero World Tour Game: $49.99 (PS2, Wii)

No official retail price has been announced by Activision or RedOctane. The release date was also listed as October 27, 2008. At $189.99, the bundle retails $20 more than Harmonix/MTV Games/EA's Rock Band Special Edition Bundle.

this is going to be awesome. guitar hero has always been better than rockband. and activision does do free replacement programs. hint, the replacement disks for gh3.

.....lol that looks so cheap and with no bar for the pedal... it's gonna slip guess activision deperatly wants some of harmonix's money a good rockband drummer would probly end up breaking it in a week and activision isnt the kind of company to have a free replacement policy
