Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid PLAYSTATION 3 Pre-orders Available Again (5/25/08) PDF Print E-mail

Pre-orders for the limited Gun Metal Gray PLAYSTATION 3 have sprung up once again. The Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle is currently available for pre-order at Konami.com. That's the only place you'll be able to find the limited PLAYSTATION 3 bundle. Konami kept some some reserves after the first batch was made available a week ago. As of today (5/25/08 at 7:30am EST), the bundle is available and the site is looking much more stable than when it first was being sold (no crashing or cart freezes). If you're looking to get the bundle, now's a good time. Included in the PLAYSTATION 3 MGS 4 bundle:

- Gun Metal Gray PLAYSTATION 3 with a 40GB Hard drive
- Completely new outer casing, featuring a matte gray finish, that has been specially made for this bundle.
- Gray DUALSHOCK 3 wireless controller
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Limited Edition

The bundle is being sold for $599.99. It's price higher than the standard 40GB PLAYSTATION 3 ($399.99) and buying the MGS4 Limited Edition ($84.99) separately. This is a limited edition created for fans and collectors, likely to be worth something years later, especially if you can resist cracking it open.

It actually never went down from the 24th. I'm in Canada and I have been checking because I was waiting to see when they would finally allow Canadians, and the pre order button was up all day the 24th up until at least midnight.
