Hudson Begins WiiWare 'Star Soldier R' Tournament PDF Print E-mail

Hudson Entertainment has announced the start of the Star Soldier R "Shoot First, Win Prizes Later" Tournament and Sweepstakes. That means even if you aren't as good as the top Star Soldiers, you'll still be able to qualify for some free Wii Points. Registration has begun today, so here's how to get started!

Details of the tournament:

Goal:
- Highest score in 5-minute Mode
- Be one of the top ranked in the online leaderboard (place position 1, 10 or 16)

What's up for grabs for the fastest fingers:
- 1st place winner will receive Hudson's Top 5 Wii Games along with 16,000 Wii Points
- 10th place winner will receive 10,000 Wii Points
- 16th place winner will receive 4,000 Wii Points
(Hudson does have a reason for picking 1st, 10th and 16th spots. See why on the tournament page).

For the sweepstakes, 10 winners will be picked in a random drawing, just for registering here. Sweepstakes winners get 2,000 Wii Points.

Tournament duration:
- From today (May 27, 2008) until 7:00 p.m. PST on June 24, 2008.
