Not only is BioShock headed to the PLAYSTATION 3, but it's also headed to the iPhone. The announcement of BioShock on mobile devices was made earlier this year. Pocket Gamer confirmed seeing a demo today at the BREW 2008 show, which IG Fun is developing.
From Pocket Gamer: "Meanwhile, the snatch of gameplay footage looked spectacular, too – certainly not worth sniffing at, even if you're a hardcore fan of the original game." Sean Malatesta, CEO of IG Fun said earlier this year: "We’re trying to do great things and BioShock on mobile promises to offer a whole new gaming experience and unmatched excitement amongst mobile gamers the world over. BioShock is a special game in its genre; it brings an element of conflicting morals which has an impact on the storyline, and, among other things, on the difficulty of the game itself.” Release date and pricing on the iPhone version has not been announced. A 2D version for other mobile devices is also in the works. From Touch Arcade
