G4's Adam Sessler interviewed Wired Game|Life's Chris Kohler and IGN's Matt Cassamassina to get their take on Wii Fit and upcoming games, or exercises tools, designed for the Wii Balance board.
Watch the 5-minute segment from G4 below. My quick bit on it? We'll probably be questioning the lasting appeal for a while, like we did when we were introduced to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Just like Nintendo included Wii Sports to hook people early on to the Wii, Nintendo once again does with Wii Fit and the Balance Board package. With all the included "games" and exercises, there's a lot of variety to satiate the appetite of most A.D.D. gamers. As Nintendo has proven with its first-party motion controlled games, hopefully they will do with the Wii Balance Board. They'll likely master the Wii Balance Board games down before third-party developers get the hang of it. In the end, it'll come to the games (or exercise tools). See more on Wii FIt here.
