The first Guitar Hero solo band game is just about to be released and word has already come on the next band exclusive Guitar Hero game. "Guitar Hero: Metallica" was spotted by an eagle-eyed analyst in Activision's SEC filing.
From the report, as noted by GameSpot: "In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms." Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is scheduled to be released at the end of this month (June 29, 2008). Guitar Hero: On Tour is coming for the Nintendo DS a week before that. Guitar Hero IV is now known as Guitar Hero World Tour, scheduled for October 2008. There has been no official press release or details from RedOctane or Activision on Guitar Hero: Metallica.
