3D Buzz has announced the "Old School Level Design Contest for Unreal Tournament 3." If you're just starting off in Unreal Modding and want to put your level design ideas to the test, the Old School contest is a great start. To make the contest more accessible to aspiring level designers, the "Old School" contest will only allow use of the UT3 assets included in the retail version of Unreal Tournament 3 (PC). No custom content. It's about making a killer map design.
Prizes that 3D Buzz and Epic Games is offering:
Grand Prize Winner:
- $1000 cash prize
- PlayStation 3 game console (or $500 cash)
- Autographed copy of Unreal Tournament 3 signed by the developers

3D Buzz is pleased to announce the official launch of the Old School Level Design Contest for Unreal Tournament 3! The Unreal mod community is in need of some new recruits, and we want you to be one of them. This contest is unique in that ONLY those assets included with the retail version of Unreal Tournament 3, published by Midway, are permitted; absolutely NO custom content can be used in your level. This means that even if you’re completely new to the modding scene, you still have a chance to win some incredible prizes, including a chance to have your level reviewed by none other than Epic’s Design Director, Cliff Bleszinski!
