Call of Duty: World at War Details Surface From OXM UK PDF Print E-mail

Early OXM UK magazine info and shots reveal details on the next Call of Duty game. Developer Treyarch is back for work on the fifth part of the Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: World at War. Call of Duty: World at War returns players to World War II once again.

Some of what the OXM article reveals includes:
- Play as US Army vs. Japanese forces
- Play as Soviet Army vs. Germany
- 4-player online Co-op
- Environments can be torched with flamethrower weapon
- Mutliplayer perks
- Based on Call of Duty 4 engine
- Developed on Xbox 360

it is the only time period Call of Duty has yet to cover, that and Call of Duty Stoneage Warfare ala Turok.

*sigh* Why another WW2 shooter? Havent we had enough of these? You know what we dont have enough of? GOOD futuristic shooters. That would be nice :)
