Burnout Revenge Retail Cars Fixed PDF Print E-mail

The Burnout Revenge Retail Car Downloads were ridden with bugs. EA had a pretty good idea in concept. To distribute exclusive retail cars at Best Buy, Circuit City and Gamestop Xbox 360 kiosks. If you stopped by a store with a Xbox 360 Memory Card, you could plug it in a kiosk to download and later play with the custom car. That's if: #1 the Xbox 360 kiosk worked, #2 if the retail store received/installed the Burnout Revenge update in the kiosk, #3 if there was ever any clear explanation to how the whole thing worked and #4 if when you finally found one, Burnout Revenge recognized it and let you use it. You were lucky to get to part #3, it was impossible to get to #4. Today a patch was released that enabled the cars you downloaded from the kiosk. After installing the update, you will get a message that a new car has been unlocked. The car can then be selected from a multiplayer game. We'll let you know if we see the promotion hitting stores again!
