The Jace Hall Show made quite a debut last week, when online video entertainment site Crackle.com relaunched. That's where we got a peek of the first gameplay footage of Duke Nukem Forever, thanks to the show's host, Jason "Jace" Hall. Jace not only delivered the first gameplay footage of 3D Realms' game, but also packed it into a suprisingly entertaining 5-minute show. The Jace Hall Show not only looks at videogames, but celebrities. Both hollywood and videogame celebrities. Yes, there is such a thing as videogame celebrities, which is something Jace aims to bring to the spotlight.

"There's not a good emphasis on the people in the videogame industry. When they [the videogame media] typically go into people on the videogame industry, it's always about how the videogame is made or something like that. And sort of growing up in the games business, I'm good friends with a lot of the top videogame makers that are out today," said Jason. "I know they have great personalities and they're really interesting people just in their own way. They're every much a celebrity as a traditional hollywood celebrity."

Here's a taste of an upcoming GamingBits.com Podcast interview with Jason "Jace" Hall, host of the new weekly online videogame entertainment program, The Jace Hall Show:

GamingBits: Could you give us a little introduction to yourself and your history with videogames?

Jason Hall: I'm best known for being one founders of a company called Monolith Productions (Blood, Condemned). I was the CEO there for 10 years. That company actually spawned a sister company called Lithtech, which I was the CEO of simultaneously until Jeff Hutt took over and that became Touchdown Entertainment. Then in 2004, I was asked to come and head up the Warner Brothers Interactive division and sort of build it and helped get the studio into the gaming space. Then after three and a half years of doing that, I was finally able to convince the studio to give me a shot at producing film, television and online content. So we did a deal with my company called HD Films to get setup here in the studio lot and start making some linear content.

GamingBits: What's coming up on the show with gaming celebrities?

Jason Hall: In Episode 3 we have Zack Levi who's the star of Chuck. And then we have Cliffy B, who as you know is the designer behind Gears of War. The episode after that we have a little sneak peek at some of the stuff Gearbox is doing on the new Brothers in Arms videogame. I think people are going to be surprised in what we are managing to pack into this show.

GamingBits: What's been one of your most memorable moments on the show?

Jason Hall: Wow, I can tell you this. I literally just got back from hanging out with Curt Schilling, Boston Red Sox's pitcher. He has a videogame studio called 38 Studios and they're working on a massively multiplayer game called "Copernicus."

Episode 2 of the Jace Hall Show just launched today on Crackle.com and on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace (for 80 Microsoft Points). Check out how Jace is beating rising gas in style with his modded T-Rex and his interview with singer/actress Christina Milian over a few gaming challenges. Give The Jace Hall Show your feedback and comments on the show's Crackle.com website.

Thanks to Crackle, Erica Annon and of course, Jace Hall for making the interview possible.
