Capcom has recently relaunch their community website for fans and enthusiasts of Capcom games. Capcom-Unity is packed with plenty of features for any Capcom fan or gamer. Blog, share your Xbox LIVE gamertag (your gamer card shows on the site) or PlayStation Network ID, upload photos and videos, or even create your own Capcom Fanboy group.
Chris Kramer, Capcom's Senior Community Manager, was interviewed by Major Nelson about the newly revamped site. Besides having an easy to use hub for hooking to talk on Lost Planet, Resident Evil, Street Fighter and Devil May Cry, word is that special events will be announced for community members to meetup and preview Capcom games. Chris noted that shortly following the E3 Business Summit in July 2008, there will be Street Fighter IV preview events in five cities in the US. Not only will the arcade version of Street Fighter IV be playable, but there will be hands-on (or hand-slaps on) gameplay of the console edition of Street Fighter IV. Join Capcom-Unity here! See if you can find me there and send me a friend's request to play some Lost Planet: Colonies!
