| Lightsaber Duels Coming To Wii and DS with Star Wars: The Clone Wars Games |

LucasArts has announced the much rumored and mysterious Star Wars Lightsaber game for Nintendo's Wii system: Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels. The Wii Remote will be wielded as a Lightsaber in this Star Wars game designed specifically for the Wii.
From LucasArts: "Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels immerses you in the characters, locations, and epic duels from the all-new Star Wars animated feature film and TV series. Built from the ground-up for Wii, Lightsaber Duels features an intuitive motion-controlled combat system that puts the Lightsaber weapon in your hand. Mastering the Jedi’s distinctive weapon is now within any player's grasp." As mentioned above, the game is based on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars CG animated series, set between Episodes II and Episode III of Star Wars. So you can expect to see Tatooine and Anakin Skywalker, along with more locations and newly introduced characters. The Nintendo DS is also getting it's own unique Clone Wars game: Star Wars The Clone Wars: Jedi Alliance. Team up a pair of Jedi for the new adventure to create greater force techniques. The DS game will support drop-in/drop-out co-op play. See a screenshot below.
