| Metal Gear Online Going Solo In Japan; Worldwide MGO Tournaments Soon |

For the few gamers who may want to play Metal Gear Online without having to buy Metal Gear Solid 4 , the online multiplayer game will soon be available separately for 1800 Yen (about $17 USD). That's in Japan only for now. Although MGO is included in MGS4, Konami has decided to offer MGO on its own in Japan starting July 17. Hideo Kojima mentioned the news during a Metal Gear Solid 4 signing in Tokyo on June 28th. No word if a solo MGO release will happen in other regions.
