The line of music-rhythm gaming instruments and pro instruments are getting blurred. Ion will be providing a serious drum kit for Rock Band and Rock Band 2 gamers. The Drum Rocker was made by engineers of Alesis, promising to provide a professional piece of gear. Snare, tom and cymbal pads can be repositioned to your liking. The "ultra-quiet velocity sensitive" pads are housed within sturdy high-impact plastic. All held together by an aluminum drum rack. When you're ready to take the training wheels off the Drum Rocker, you can take out the game controller module and replace it with a pro one from Alesis.
The Drum Rocker will be available for the Xbox 360 in mid-September, with Ion working on a PLAYSTATION 3 and Wii release for later in the year.
