Hey Bitheads, this is Sha'ul live and in effect!

I had the awesome opportunity to attend the EA Dead Space Community Event, at EA Redwood Shores. I was given the privilege to sit in on some truly informative presentations on Dead Space's development and also was able to play 3 levels of the game, which I'll reveal details about shortly. At the event were about 30 or so various journalists from online blogs, and we all had a great time. Especially watching Evil Dead 2 in the EA Milestone Theatre. In the upcoming days, we will have the audio available for the Q&A session with Glen Schofield, Dead Space Executive Producer. Also, listen for an interview in the next upcoming GamingBits Podcast for a really cool interview with Don Veca, Audio Director for the game.

I believe Dead Space is a sure sell with its atmosphere, control scheme and lack of HUD (they just go hand in hand), as well as an excellent presentation and gameplay. Although that doesn't give you much of any idea, it truly left me with a smile on my face when I left San Francisco. Dead Space was also recently acknowledged as the Best Action/Adventure Game from the Best of E3 2008 Game Critics Awards.

So lookout for the goodies, podcast and more information on Dead Space, coming soon on GamingBits.com. For now, see a teaser screenshot below of the horrific mess you'll walk into on the game!

It was played on the Xbox 360, but PS3 version was shown being played as well, which looks identical.

Did you play on a 360 remote or PS3 remote?

I ask cause supposedly the PS3 is the Lead platform but I've read other previews that they used a 360 remote and was wondering why not a PS3 remote unless some unforseen delays have taken place
