Square Enix recently announced that it has shipped the newest installment in the Star Ocean series, Star Ocean: Second Evolution. From Square Enix:

"A completely remastered STAR OCEAN: Second Evolution, developed exclusively for the PSP system, arrives with a revised game engine, improved battle system and fully voiced, all-new animated scenes displayed in 16:9 wide-screen format. Fans of the STAR OCEAN saga, which has shipped over 2.8 million units worldwide, can continue their adventure through the sea of stars with this latest installment."

"Set 20 years after the events of STAR OCEAN: First Departure, STAR OCEAN: Second Evolution expands the STAR OCEAN universe, inviting players to experience the next chapter in this action-packed sci-fi RPG series."
