Today's the day for PLAYSTATION 3 gamers to get their hands on the Resident Evil 5 demo. The playable demo is now available from the PlayStation Network. Head over to the PlayStation Store to download the demo, which is just under 1GB.

For those of you who have both the PS3 and Xbox 360 systems, and have played the demo, which version of Resident Evil 5 will you be getting? Xbox 360 or PLAYSTATION 3? At the time of this writing, in checking out the Amazon.com sales of Resident Evil 5, the PS3 regular edition was leading in sales to the Xbox 360 regular edition. However, the Xbox 360 Resident Evil 5 Collector's Edition had a lead on the PLAYSTATION 3 Resident Evil 5 Collector's Edition.
